
Ingredients:
Peel the figs and cut them into small pieces. To prepare the accompaniment, mix the figs with the cinnamon, the fresh ginger, honey, salt and Espelette pepper in a saucepan. Reduce the preparation slowly until you get a slightly candied mixture.
Allow to cool and keep aside…
Cut thin slices of smoked duck breast, and remove the skin. Carefully place a little bit of candied mixture on a slice of gingerbread and cover it with a slice of smoked duck breast.
Enjoy these tapas with a glass of Sweet Bordeaux!
